JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION OVERVIEW

Newberg Dodge is looking for experienced Automotive Technicians. We offer a signing bonus up to $2,000 and guaranteed hours for qualified candidates. If you are currently ASE certified (or willing to obtain) and are not being paid what you deserve, you must consider Newberg Dodge. We are interviewing now.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: 

 

·              Post-secondary automotive training and/or at least one year of dealer-level or large facility experience

·              ASE Certification (or willingness to obtain)

·              A strong technical performance record

·              Strong physical dexterity and stamina to get the job done

·              Positive attitude and solid work ethic
·              CDK experience a strong plus

·              Excellent communication skills with a customer focus and friendly, helpful attitude

WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

 

·              Receive service work orders, perform designated servicing and/or repair jobs

·              Locate and diagnose problems with malfunctioning vehicles; road test as needed
·              Perform all manufacturer requirements for warranty work

·              Plan and perform mechanical or electrical repairs

·              Perform regular service and preventative maintenance tasks on vehicles in order to keep in safe, dependable operating condition

·              Maintain all required documentation of service work done

·              Continually update product knowledge needed to work on new models
