Newberg Dodge has an immediate opportunity available for an experienced Automotive Technician.  Desirable candidates will be energetic, hardworking, team-oriented and understand quality production.  Dodge/Chrysler experience highly preferred.

What You'll Do:

-Receive service work orders, perform designated servicing and/or repair jobs

-Locate and diagnose problems with malfunctioning vehicles; road test as needed

-Identify necessary parts, prepare parts and labor quotes

-Plan and perform mechanical or electrical repairs

-Perform regular service and preventative maintenance tasks on vehicles in order to keep in safe, dependable operating condition

-Maintain all required documentation of service work done

-Continually update product knowledge needed to work on new models

  • Diagnoses issues based on experience, analysis, and testing
  • Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs
  • Repairs all makes and models as assigned
  • Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs
  • Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
  • Follows all safety and security procedures
  • Helps educate/train new staff members
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, coworkers, and others
  • ASE certification (or is willing to obtain certification)
  • One year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Eligible to work in United States
